COURSE OVERVIEW A clear understanding of not only what commissioning is but also how it should be applied. Depending on the owner’s goals and code requirements, commissioning can mean the difference between just checking a box and adding real value to a project. This presentation reviews the basics of commissioning then details the elements of the process required by IECC and LEED. LEARNING OBJECTIVES 1. Identify steps in the commissioning process and how they affect the project as a whole. 2. Discuss the commissioning requirements for IECC. 3. Understand the requirements for LEED fundamental commissioning, LEED enhanced commissioning, as well as additional Cx services often requested by owners. 4. Understand how commissioning can be valuable to the success of a project.
